The Customer Module helps you manage customers who have contacted the channel, search for them, and create customer segments for remarketing.
To find this module, from your SmaxAI dashboard, navigate to the Customers section.
Upon entering the Customer Module, you’ll see a list of your customers. This view provides an overview of the customers, including:
- Name
- Gender
- Channel
- Last Inbox by User (Show the timestamp of their last message)
- Last Interaction (Display the date of their last interaction)
- Tags
From this main view, you can also see options like Export, Import, Segments, and Customer Search at the top, allowing for bulk actions and advanced filtering.

When you click on a customer’s name from the main list, a detailed customer profile panel will open. This includes 5 subtabs:
1. System Attributes #
This tab displays automatically collected system attributes for the customer.

2. Custom Attributes #
This tab allows you to view and manage custom attributes that you have defined and assigned to your customers. Add new custom attributes by clicking Add new attribute at the bottom.

3. Sequences #
This tab shows any automated message sequences that the customer is currently part of or has completed. Add them to a new sequence by clicking Add Sequence.

4. Tags #
Here, you can view and manage tags associated with the customer. Assign them a new tag by clicking Add New.

5. Shopify #
If your SmaxAI account is integrated with Shopify, this tab will display relevant order information for the customer.
